María Calatrava is a psychologist, researcher, and professor at the University of Navarra in Spain, where she is affiliated with the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS). Her research focuses on couple and family relationships, affective and sexual development, and the psychological and spiritual processes that contribute to individual and relational well-being.

During her stay as a visiting scholar, she is collaborating on research projects related to mental health, relationships, and human flourishing, with a particular interest in developing new opportunities for international research collaboration between Catholic University and the University of Navarra.
